📚 Library News: Celebrating Book Week Success! 📚

What a spectacular week we had! Term 3 is truly in full swing, and our recent Education Week and Book Week celebrations were an absolute highlight. The energy and excitement across the school grounds were wonderful to see.

🎭 Parade Highlights & Best-Dressed Winners

A massive congratulations to all our students (and staff!) for the incredible effort put into their parade costumes. From classic fairytale characters to modern picture book heroes, the creativity on display made for an unforgettable morning.

A special shoutout goes to our Stage Best-Dressed Award recipients! Choosing the winners was no easy task with so many outstanding outfits, but these students truly brought their chosen book characters to life. Well done to everyone who participated and made the parade such a joyful community event.

📖 Book Fair Total Raised

We are thrilled to announce that our Scholastic Book Fair was a resounding success! Thanks to the fantastic support of our school families, we raised a whopping $2,804!

Every dollar raised goes directly back into our school through reward points, which we will use to purchase exciting new resources, popular series, and engaging learning materials for our Library shelves. Thank you so much for your generosity and commitment to building our school's reading culture.

🏆 Borrowing Competitions & Rewards

Now that the parade and fair have wrapped up, it is time to keep that reading momentum going! A reminder to all students to keep bringing their library bags and borrowing regularly to stay in the running for our term reading rewards:

• Top Borrower Award: The student from each stage who borrows the most books this term will win a $5 canteen voucher plus a special queue-jumper pass to skip the line at the canteen!
• Top Borrowing Class: The class with the highest total number of borrows across the term will celebrate with a Hot Chip Lunch!

Encourage your children to return their books on their scheduled library day so they can keep swapping them over for fresh titles. Happy reading, everyone!
