Hunter Science Festival at Newcastle Museum | Sunday 23 August | 10am - 3pm | FREE and all ages!
This year the festival is jam-packed with more hands-on science activities, giveaways and amazing experiences for children than ever before! Meet the robot dog and the robot humanoid, battle combat robots in a specially built arena, check out shark eggs, fossils, radio telescopes, mechanical limbs, bees, the CN garbage truck and so much more with over 40 science stalls! Award-winning Fringe Festival acts The Pretty Amazing Jono and The Bubble Laboratory will be performing throughout the day in Museum Park, alongside returning science-show favourites Fizzics Education and the HMRI Poo Palace. Bring a picnic to enjoy on our lawn whilst you watch the stage entertainment or enjoy a sausage sizzle, dumplings and cupcakes from our food vendors.
