Mito Daini Senior High School Students Visit Our School

On Friday 31 July, we welcomed 30 girls from Mito Daini Senior High School, Japan for an afternoon of cultural exchange and friendship. The students enjoyed a conversation practice lesson, sampled delicious banh mi (thanks to year 12 Hospitality), and took part in a lively music exchange, that showcased the talents of both schools. The Japanese girls performed a traditional dance, the “Soran Bushi”, which looked so much fun that the girls from BHGHS joined in too for a special encore performance!

This memorable visit gave everyone the chance to learn about school life in Australia and Japan, make new friends, and celebrate our shared love of learning. Thank you to our visitors for bringing such enthusiasm to our school community.
