Health and Physical Education Learning Area Snapshot

This term has been nothing short of action-packed for our Health and Physical Education Learning Area, with students embracing the spirit of competition, teamwork, and personal growth through a variety of interschool sporting events.

Our AFL teams took centre stage in multiple carnivals, showcasing both grit and dedication. The junior boys (Year 8 and 9) battled fiercely in their division, demonstrating impressive game awareness and resilience. Meanwhile, the senior boys and senior girls teams (Years 10–12) held their own against tough opponents, proving that their hard work on the field translates into strong performances under pressure.

In Basketball, our School Sport WA teams travelled to Willetton Basketball Stadium for a high-stakes competition, where both teams delivered standout performances. Their hard work was rewarded with a spot in the finals, securing their place in the next round later this term.

Netball day carnivals added to the excitement, with students displaying exceptional coordination, strategy, and sportsmanship. It was fantastic to see so many athletes stepping up to represent their school with pride

In addition, our Interschool Cross-Country competitors took on the challenge of endurance racing, proving their grit and determination over long distances.
