Year 6 Market Place
As part of th Year 6 Economics unit, our Year 6 students are excited to be running their very own Business Expo on Wednesday 18th June (next Wednesday).
Over the past few weeks, students have been developing business ideas, pitching them to me, and preparing to bring them to life for one day only! The Expo will run from 11:20am to 12:50pm, and students from across the school are invited to attend and enjoy the event.
There will be a fantastic variety of stalls including:
• Food (with all ingredients clearly listed for allergy awareness) including hamburgers, waffles, lollies, cookies, cupcakes, hot chips, pizza, smores and snow cones
• Services including face painting, glitter tattoos, coloured hair spray and photo booth
• Games including Choc Toss, Spin and Win, and Toss and Win
• Trinkets and toys made or sourced by our Grade 6 entrepreneurs - including bracelets, fidget toys, Jibbitz, stationary and slime
Students from all year levels will get to visit the expo and purchase the goods or services, parents are also welcome to attend.
The students will be attending at the following times:
• Prep & Year 1: 11:20am – 11:50am
• Year 2 & Year 3: 11:50am – 12:20pm
• Year 4 & Year 5: 12:20pm – 12:50pm
If your child would like to purchase at the expo, they are asked to bring cash only, we recommend that each child bring no more than $20.
