SCHOOL SPORT 2025
Bathurst District Cross Country Carnival
The District Carnival will be held on Wednesday 28th May, 2025 at Sulman Park, Mt Panorama. The children who have qualified to attend this carnival are;

Lilly Guihot, Sophie McPhee, Addison Jones, Ava Bartholomew, Jax Brennan, Blake Hunt, Alex Bateman, Nicholas Pearson, Heidi Lyle, Charlotte Morris, Billie Lindsay, Katie Kicovic,
Harvey Glasgow, Cruz Fischbeck, Christian Mena Taylor, and Archer Kolkman.
District and Western Sport Trials
In 2025, Mrs Francis will coordinate all district and western trial information for PSSA Sporting teams.
Some trials at a school level will be held prior to the district trials. This depends on the sport and popularity of trials at the district level.
When trialling for district and western teams, notes will go home with students from school and will need to be returned to school to Mrs Francis before the due date.
Students cannot attend trials without this note being approved by the school and students names entered into trials by the school.
Students can find out about upcoming school, district and western trials by listening to Sentral announcements in class, and parents can find out about trials by keeping up to date through the School Newsletter.
School Sporting Teams and scheduled Training
Boccia Team
Boccia training will be held during Break 2 next Thursday 29th May with Miss Reedy.
Rugby League Squad
The Rugby League Squad will train next week during Break 1 on Monday 26th May and Break 2 Thursday 29th May.
Mouthguards and headgear must be worn to all squad trainings.
The team will be selected in the coming weeks.
School Soccer Team
Training will be held Break 1 Tuesday 27th May with Mrs McPhee and Miss Barber.
The Soccer Gala Day will be held on Friday 30th May.
Girls Basketball
Training will be held Break 2 on Wednesday 28th May with Mr Datt (Mrs Francis Away)
Boys Basketball
Training will be held Break 2 on Wednesday 28th May with Mr Datt
Cricket Team
We are waiting to hear about our next game with Orange Public School after the game was cancelled due to weather on Thursday.
