Thank you for your continued support in ensuring our students attend school regularly. We are proud to share that our school’s attendance rate is over 93% for Term 1.
Kindergarten had the highest attendance rate of 94%, closely followed by Year 6, Year 2 and Year 1 on 93%.
This week I have sent home over 100 requests for explanations on absenteeism. Please ensure these are returned to school as soon as possible.
I thank all of our parents for continuing to inform the school of absences through the Compass App, this saves a lot of time for our busy administration ladies.
Being a parent isn’t always popular, but it’s always powerful. Children feel most secure when adults lead with strength, consistency, and care. Friendship can wait - what they truly need is your steady presence, your wisdom, and your courage to parent first to keep them safe.
Teachers are in the process of finalising your child's mid year report.
At our school, we are committed to providing clear and constructive feedback on your child's learning progress and development. Our reporting process is designed to ensure that you stay informed about your child's academic achievements, areas for growth, and their overall wellbeing.
The reporting process aims to:
Foster open communication between the school and families, supporting your child's learning journey.
Your child's report will be sent home via Compass at the end of the term with parent/teacher/student interviews following in week 10. More information to follow.

All students are now required to be in full Winter uniform. This includes ties for all students with an option of tunic or pants for girls. We ask that all parents refer to the uniform policy on the school website to ensure students are presented correctly at school.
A reminder that hair below the shoulders should be tied up and only basic hair accessories in school colours should be worn. Non-natural hair colours are not allowed at McAuley in line with our uniform policy. Nail polish and make-up is not to be worn to school and only one pair of small plain stud earrings are suitable to be worn to school.
The clothing pool is well stocked if you are in need of any items of school clothing. Please contact the front office if you would like to access the clothing pool.
