Wellbeing

This term as part of her Mental Health in PS role, Mrs Brook and the grade 5/6 girls have formed a group  to focus on strengthening and developing skills in resilience, friendships and problem solving.

We have been enjoying our discussions whilst completing art and crafts. Last week we made a ‘friendship cake’ where we looked at the ingredients to being a good friend.

Berry Street Post Separation Services

This is a free program that can help support parents after separation.

Respectful Relationships

In respectful relationships the F-4 students have been focusing on help seeking and different emotions. We have been looking at different scenarios where we might need to seek help. We have also been looking at the right kinds of people that can help us out such as parents, teachers, friends, police men and trusted adults.

The grade ¾ class enjoyed making ‘helping hands’ where they identified 5 safe people in their life that can help them out if its needed.

Don't forget breakfast club is on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday morning from 8:30. As it has started to cool down, we have been enjoying the addition of warm Milos in the morning to help warm us up. What a great opportunity for the kids to sit down with a warm drink and have a chat!
