Celebrating 25 Years of National Simultaneous Storytime!

Each year, this nationwide event brings schools together as a picture book by an Australian author and illustrator is read aloud simultaneously across the country. It’s a fantastic way to celebrate the joy of reading and Australian storytelling.

Thank you to all our wonderful staff and students for making the 25th Anniversary of National Simultaneous Storytime a memorable occasion! A big thank-you to Mrs Zhang and our dedicated library leaders for generously giving up their time to create a Loom recording of this year’s book, The Truck Cat. Your efforts are truly appreciated and helped bring the story to life for our students in a fun and engaging way.

Our students embraced the spirit of the day by wearing silly socks, adding a splash of fun and colour to the celebration. It brought smiles, laughter, and a shared love of literature to our school community.
