Casual Education Support Staff

We are currently looking for casual staff members for our Education Support Team. 

This could be in a range of positions, including school reception and food technology help.

2024 Youth Council 

The expressions of interest for the 2024 Youth Council have now opened!

We are looking for young people 12-17 who can commit one afternoon a week to attend the meetings. They will learn new skills, meet others, work on a project, give feedback to Council officers and have fun!

Gordon Gibson Nominees is a well-established and respected locally owned business specialising in the design, supply and installation of pumping and irrigation equipment serving North East Victoria and Southern NSW.

We are currently seeking two students (or school leavers) to join our team based in Wangaratta.

Successful applicants will require:

• A high level of motivation and enthusiasm
• The ability to work as part of a team and follow direction from the team leader
• Must enjoy working outside
• Physical fitness is necessary as most jobs require manual labour
• Experience in pumping or irrigation  would be desirable but not essential

Role of Pump/Irrigation Technician

Our pump/irrigation technician role would include assisting with the:

• installation and servicing of irrigation systems 
• installation and servicing of pumps 

The hours for this position are Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. Award wages apply. Overtime may sometimes be required to complete a job.  Overtime rates are paid.

School leavers are encouraged to apply.  These positions could become permanent full time for the right applicant. Students not leaving school will be employed during summer school holidays.
