Bravo, Year 10 & 11 Drama Stars! 🎭 

Our talented students recently took centre-stage, leaving everyone in awe of their incredible performances. 

Year 10s presented The Marvellous Mellow Melodrama of the Marriage of the Mislaid Minor by local playwright Kristen Doherty. Their portrayal of melodramatic characters had us in stitches! 

Followed by the Year 11s who delved into Act 1 of The Great Gatsby, brilliantly interpreting Simon Levy’s beautiful distillation of Fitzgerald’s prose. 

We're so proud of the hard work, passion, and collaboration these students brought to the stage.

Year 10 Students win Fake News Competition

Congratulations to Year 10 students Caleb, Charlotte, and Joshua, who have won First Place in the Alliance Française competition 2023!

The competition's theme was 'Fake News' and the students presented a convincing and well-prepared video in French, focusing on fake news about Corsica Island wanting to separate from France and become Italian. 

They have been invited to represent Emmaus Christian College and receive their awards on the 25 October at the annual Distribution des Prix held at St Peter's College.
