Battle of the Bands Win

For the second consecutive year in a row, The Dunners took out first place in Wangaratta’s Battle of the Bands event on Saturday at The Vine Hotel. 

The free event was hosted by the Rural City of Wangaratta's youth services FReeZA crew Spilt Milk, and attracted a crowd of about 120 people to watch some of the district's best young musical talent in action.

The band, made up of students Ollie Chambers, Eden Van Bergen, Josh Roberts Robertson and Xavier Zachariou are all a part of Wangaratta High School’s VET Music Performance class and were proud to win the event again this year. 

As winners, The Dunners have earned a place in the North East Battle of the Bands final, to be held at an all-ages event on the Benalla foreshore on January 20th.
