Aussie of the Month

Aussie of the month

Congratulations to our September Aussie of the month Olivia Hyde.

Aussie of the Month is awarded to a student each month that demonstrates the qualities of fairness, mateship, respect, and inclusion.

At GRPS we believe it is important to acknowledge students that are actively contributing to our community in a positive way and are consistently

demonstrating our school values of respect, responsibility, and a learner.

Olivia shines as a highly motivated and positive student in our class. She approaches her learning with dedication, consistently taking great pride in completing every task with excellence. Olivia's inquisitive and curious nature drives her to seek ways to extend and challenge her understanding, setting a stellar example for her peers.

Beyond her academic abilities, Olivia stands out as a wonderful friend to everyone she encounters. Her actions are consistently guided by kindness, ensuring that those around her feel not only included but valued. Witnessing Olivia blossom into the remarkable person she is today has been nothing short of incredible.

Olivia, you deserve all the success coming your way. Keep reaching for the stars!

A little bit about our AUSSIE

Who is your inspiration?

Jimmy, because he focuses a lot.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

I would love to be a baker because I like baking with my mum and dad, and I like eating sweets.

What is your favourite subject to learn about?

Maths because I like to add up numbers.

If someone is ever mean on purpose to you, what is your quick comeback?

“Not cool”

What would you do in playground if you saw someone upset?

I would go up to them and ask if they’re okay and if they said no, I would ask them what is wrong and how can I help.
