Body Kind Week

2023 Body Kind Week is a celebration of the amazing things our bodies can do. A series of events aims to promote body acceptance, diversity, passions, individuality and encourages people to engage in behaviours that are positive and respectful to ourselves and others.  Perfect weather for the Colour Run added put extra spring in the fun.

 

Monday - Mindful meditation sessions to manage stress, improve sleep adn reduce anxiety and depression

 

Tuesday - Repect Cup developed respectful relationships  with a series of staff against students in year level matches throughout the year - netball, basketball, soccer The final event was an all in dodgeball game which then saw the coverted Respect Cup claimed by the students for 2023. 

 

Wednesday 

Colour. Fun. A bit of a run. There was music too! 

 

Thursday - Coincided with RU OK day and an opportunity to add to the Body Kind Tree with affirmation messages.

Friday - Footy Colour days with gold coin donations going to the Butterfly Foundation.
