Trivia Night
Wow! What a night we had!
The JLC was converted from a classroom to a function room in a matter of hours and filled with almost 110 people. There was plenty of fun, laughter, singing and dancing to be had. The QuizzaMe quiz masters were fabulous and got the crowd going and loved how the guests were willing participants in body building, air guitar and nutbush competitions. Even a re-enactment of scenes from the movie Ghost.
While all this was going on, many of us were lucky enough to feast on a grazing box from the Year 11 Food Studies students. These were amazing, thank you and well done. Apart from getting together and having some fun, our main objective was to raise money for the school and to put towards future grants. The PFA are proud to announce that we have raised $6500
There were so many donations from local businesses who were all too willing to support our school. These were all sold off through a silent auction and raffles throughout the night. Please take the time to read the list of sponsors and support these businesses like they have supported us. A special mention goes to some major sponsors Empire Healthcare ($500 donation), Wyndham Hotels ($900 worth of vouchers), Bayside Sweets for our winning table prize.
Of course events like this cannot go ahead without the help of volunteers. I would like to thank Abigail Gilroy-Smith. Jackie Jarmen, Penny Edmeades, Lianne Wells, Megan Potter for their help in putting the night together. The PFA would also like to thank those that assisted in the setup, during the evening and cleanup.

Referendum Sausage Sizzle
Democracy Sausage goes Constitutional
MGSC are once again hosting a polling booth, this time for the Referendum on Saturday 14 October. This means yet another great opportunity for a sausage sizzle fundraiser by the PFA.
