Middle School News

The Year 9s and 10s have been working hard within English to complete their public speaking unit. The public speaking unit promotes the important skill of speaking in front of an audience, and exemplifies necessary skills needed within life, such as eye contact, gesturing and tone of voice, all skills that lead to a great speech. Good luck to all candidates chosen to represent their class within the Public Speaking Competition! 

Some examples of speech topics that the year 9s and 10s have chosen are:

• 24 hour Cat Curfew
• Cancel culture
• Environmental issues
• Feminism
• Women in sport
• Scientific issuesy
