Year Two Team News
with Steph, Joel K and Georgia
Hello Year Two families,
Welcome back to what is going to be a very exciting Term Four! We have hit the ground running and already had two days of our warm water swimming program. We have been extremely proud of the outstanding behaviour and swimming skills that have been on display on these days.
Over the last two weeks we have explored measurement and area in maths. This led students to measure the area of their desks with informal units of measurement such as pieces of paper, cards and books! We have also divided into our inquiry unit ‘what’s in our garden and why does it matter?’. As we’ve had beautiful weather, we’ve been able to explore the gardens at our school and do some fantastic drawings. We look forward to exploring all the student’s wonderings and learning more about the environments and creatures around us!
