Visual Arts Awards

Recently the Visual Arts Department, with help from the members of the Art Academy, hung and hosted the Annual Visual Arts Exhibition. Work from every student who studied a visual arts subject this year was displayed, showcasing the talent of our students and the diversity of subjects offered within the visual arts. Awards for artistic excellence were presented on the opening night, acknowledging nominees and winners from each year level.

I would like to once again congratulate these students and commend all students who exhibited on their efforts this year. You can view the nominated and winning artwork on the college website under Co-curricular - Visual Arts.

Instrumental music tuition 2024

Instrumental lessons are offered at the college on a variety of orchestral instruments, guitar, piano, and singing. Learning an instrument at the Academy provides each student with a practical music experience and an outlet to discover and enjoy the beauty of music individually and in ensemble playing.

For all enquiries please contact the Music Department at the College

Dance Team

As the school year draws to a close, Zoe and I find ourselves immersed in reflections on the fantastic journey our dance team has undertaken at the Academy. This year has been filled with dedication, persistence and performance. We are eager to share our gratitude for the remarkable efforts of the entire dance team.

It has genuinely been a pleasure witnessing the incredible growth of all of the girls involved, and we admire their persistence and determination as we choreographed our dance. We settled on creating a contemporary routine set to the emotionally resonant song “Cold” , an instrumental piece of music.

The team hopes to share our efforts with the school community toward the start of next year. Mira and I are highly grateful for the large focus The Academy places on the arts, and for the way that our school cherishes everyone’s talents. On behalf of the dance team we must thank Miss Hamilton for the time and effort she has put into making our dance team a success.
