School Council Write Up

School Council met for the last time this year on Wednesday the 22nd of November.

 

Planning for the 2024 School Year is continuing. As new recruits for the 2024 staff continue to be appointed, there are few vacancies left to fill within the teaching team, leading us into a comfortable position for the upcoming school year.

 

Exciting work is underway, with the school due to receive a partial makeover during the upcoming holiday period. Countless hours have been put in by the office staff to plan, finance and secure extensive painting and carpeting works throughout the school, in addition to a furniture overhaul of most classrooms and the staff work room.

 

The Council’s Fundraising Committee has confirmed their next fundraising effort, which is the West Peak Community Raffle on Friday the 26th of January 2024. Make sure you save the date!

 

The council would like to thank all staff for their continued efforts and dedication to our school, with special thanks to those who have provided reports to council throughout the year. We would like to extend this thanks to the school community, who have provided valuable feedback through one or more of our surveys.
