Edgar's Mission

The Year 1's have been looking into ways that we can help others and the environment. We recently had a wonderful excursion to Lancefield to visit all the animals being cared for at Edgar’s Mission. We got to pat the gorgeous donkeys, Hamish and Andy and go into the Chicken Village and hand feed all the happy hens.

The students had a great day looking at all the other farm animals and listening to our guide Daniel tell us about each one. The students wrote a recount of the day and made a salt sculpture of their favourite animal that they saw at the farm. The Year 1's are currently raising money for Edgar’s Mission to assist them to continue to do the great work that they do.
