Dear Parents and Carers,

Last Thursday morning I sat in my office rather than out the front, greeting the children. I was quite unwell so had to stay seated and feeling quite nervous as to whether I would be able to travel to Leuven. 

As I sat there feeling miserable  I was treated to the sounds of laughter, welcome and joy. I heard the greetings of the children to the staff, the greetings of staff to parents, children and each other, the laughter from the staff room and the foyer. It was such a privilege to just sit and listen. I am truly blessed to be part of such a warm, inclusive and fun-filled community. While I’m away at each prayer session and Mass I will remember the wonderful community I am a part of. 

Look after each other and I will see you all on the first day of term 4.
