District Athletics

Well done to all the students who took part in the Nobl Park District Athletics last week. We had lots of great individual results as well as students having a go and giving it their best.  And as a team, Resurrection won the whole competition for another year. Congratulations to all the competitors - as always it is such a pleasure to teach, coach, train and then watch our students in all the sports we do at school.  But when competing in individual events like Athletics you can really see the effort the studetns have put into their training and then the resilience shown on the day in their performance.  They always show impeccable behaviour on and off the track and set good examples to others.

27 students made it through to the next round - the Divisional Athletics next week at Casey Fields.  Good luck to all who are competiting.

Footy Gala Day

Last week boys and girls in Grade 4 and 5 got the chance to take part in an AFL Gala day. They had great fun playing lots of games and taking part in lots of activities.  

NRL clinics and After school Club

Students in Year 1, 2, 3 and 4 have been participating in some NRL clinics this week. Students have learnt some new skills and enjoyed playing lots of new games.  In term 4 there will be an after school club run by the NRL coaches - click on the link below.  If you are interested then please apply through the link below or through the information on leaflets and posters in school.  Please note this is NOT run by school - it is run by the NRL, any questions must go to them or you can email me if needed at sredwards@reskeysborough.catholic.edu.au
