From the Principal's Desk
May the light of your soul guide you.
May the light of your soul bless all that you do.
May you see in what you do the beauty of your own soul.
May the sacredness of your world bring healing, light and renewal to you.
May your soul calm, console and renew you. Amen.
VISION IN PRACTICE
In 2020 our school underwent a four yearly Review which included self-reflection using specific guidelines, VRQA compliance requirements and visits from an external panel who provided feedback in the form of a report. This Review assisted with the formation of our School Improvement Plan (2020- 2024) and Annual Action Plans which outline our goals and targets. We reflect each year on our progress in relation to the goals and make adjustments for the following year.
In preparation for the 2020 Review we re-wrote our Resurrection School Vision Statement following feedback from students, families and staff about the core values or principles which must guide the vision for our school. When collated, these values/principles were presented under the headings: FAITH, LEARNING, WELLBEING, COMMUNITY, ENVIRONMENT and CONNECTIONS.

Resurrection School Vision
At Resurrection School we are guided by Jesus who said, “I am the Way. Follow Me.”
We are committed to being an inclusive community which promotes engaging learning based on high expectations.
We focus on the well-being of all learners as they flourish in a nurturing, respectful environment. We value partnerships with families and authentic connections with the wider community.
The Vision and the Guiding Principles guide the decisions and plans for our school. We aim for students, families and staff to engage in experiences which are based on our values/principles. Primary schools should offer every member of the community opportunities to thrive and be supported in learning and wellbeing. Checking the school calendar, Seesaw, Google Classroom and asking your child about learning and events this term will highlight the multitude of opportunities that are offered to engage, value and nurture. We welcome your feedback to improve our community at any time.
