Workplace wellbeing webinars shared the care

We can’t perform at our best if our lives aren’t balanced.  Before COVID, First National prioritised wellness education opportunities. During COVID we excelled. Post COVID, our commitment to mental wellness across the network continues to be enhanced.

In addition to our programme with EQ Minds, First National endorsed Real Care, the FREE and multiple award-winning mental health and wellness app specially designed for the real estate industry by FN Byron principal, Chris Hanley OAM.

We grabbed mainstream media with anti-rent-control messages

Increasing the eminence of the First National brand creates a greater presence and more trust in your community.  Stopping rent controls defends your biggest asset – your rent roll.

Network research on the global failure of rent controls grabbed the media’s attention, putting First National’s brand in the spotlight. Capital city radio exposure included 2GB (Sydney), ABC (North QLD), 6PR (Perth), 2CC (Canberra), 106.5 (Hobart). News outlets included The Real Estate Conversation, Herald Sun and REA.

Following the National Rental Inquiry, the Albanese Government announced there would be no rent caps imposed on the industry.

We warned homeowners to get ready for El Niño

Network commentary about preparing your home for this summer’s El Niño event showed how much First National Real Estate cares about its customers.

It also grabbed radio coverage on 6PR (Perth), 2ST (Southern Highlands, NSW), and 105.1 (Port Douglas, QLD), keeping your brand top-of-mind.

Chairman & CEO Luncheon, Armidale

The network’s Chairman and CEO Luncheons provide opportunities for our principals, sales agents, property managers and administrators to get to know each other, the network’s leadership, and discuss everything related to real estate. In Armidale, our most recent event brought people together from far and wide, and FN Armidale (NSW) closed its office completely so its whole team could participate!

Jonathan Creek in Adelaide

Jonathan Creek’s social media training always receives rave reviews and it was no different in Adelaide, where he recently shared his pearls of wisdom.

Fiona Blayney Investor Relations

Fiona Blayney worked her magic with our investor relations managers, yet again. She helped them to uncover how they can grow their property management business through solving client and customer challenges, while keeping their teams together along the way. At her sessions in New South Wales, she discussed:

  • Methods to minimise legislation disruption
  • WHHSS – Work Health, Happiness, Safety, Simplified
  • What your role is when client and customer are at odds
  • Service standards for client and team retention
  • 5 quick roads to growth
  • The Real Care App

New South Wales CPD Training

Continued Professional Development is not only compulsory, it’s vital to making sure you’re 100% across all of the latest changes to legislation and factors that can substantially affect a customer’s experience. Our NSW and VIC/QLD border offices undertook the network’s CPD webinar training sessions, with great feedback received.

‘Thank you very much for your time this morning with the training. It was run very smoothly and I came out having learnt lots, taking away very important facts.’

Zoey Tye

FN Charles L. King & Co (Echuca, Vic)

‘Just want to say that course this morning was awesome. She didn’t muck around, just smashed out the relevant info and got it done. High praises from me.’

Liam Russell

FN Charles L. King & Co (Echuca, Vic)

Leah Calnan and Tribunal Case Studies

Leah Calnan's training day at Crown was a huge success.  Leah discussed the basics of preparing a notice to vacate, making applications, timeframes, and went over case study examples.

‘I thought the training was great; such grey areas that just need to run through VCAT to get precedents. Leah was great, as usual. Such an incredibly intelligent woman regarding the Residential Tenancies Act.’

Jeni Capaldo

FN Treeby (Ringwood, Vic)

‘I found the webinar informative and, as usual, well presented by Leah. The timeframe was convenient and the Q & A interaction was great.’

Nicole Tomkins

Jonathan Clover: The difference between average & good is execution

The difference between an average and good agent is execution, but to progress from a good agent to an elite agent is process driven.  Turning selling into a systemised sales production line is what has taken FN Genesis (Mt Hawthorn,WA) from a start-up to our No.2 office in Western Australia in less than 5 years.

Taking Manic Out of Maintenance
