Important notices for parents and carers

Subject Selection

Subject selections for our senior students are now complete and the process for our junior students is in full swing. Year 7 and Year 8 students attended Subject Information sessions last week, with the full presentations available to parents through the Parent Access Module (PAM).

To assist your child and inform their choices, please refer to our 2024 Curriculum Guide through your PAM account, which contains details regarding all subjects to be offered at Trinity. Please initiate a discussion with your child about their learning and encourage them to select subjects they enjoy for next year.

Each child has received an individual link to access the online portal. The choices made by your child will be emailed to you through the portal. This email requires the parent or carers’ signature to signal that you have reviewed and accepted the choices. This completes the process. Students have multiple chances to change their selections up to the due date.

Due date for online subject selections for current Years 7 and 8 (2024 Years 8 and 9) is 29 August by 11.30pm.

Student Learning Conversations

Our Student Learning Conversations are coming up on 5 September and, while parents and carers of all years are very welcome, we particularly urge Years 11 and 12 families to attend these important sessions. Making the time to go through the final exam process can really prepare both the student and the family and goes a long way towards a successful outcome.

Students do not have to attend school this day but are encouraged to attend the SLC. You will receive more information in due course.

Upcoming Professional Learning Day

On 15 September teachers will be spending the day planning the College curriculum, including review of the scope and sequence of learning, individual learning area collaboration and planning, exploring for new Maths' curriculum, the impact of artificial intelligence on learning and a review of our NAPLAN data.
