House Mascots

We are excited to introduce our House Mascots! Following consultation with students and staff, we have House Mascots to represent each of the Houses. House mascots serve several purposes, for instance:

  1. Foster a Sense of Identity and Belonging: House mascots help create a sense of identity and belonging. They give individuals a shared symbol to get around and take pride in.
  2. Promote Unity and Team Spirit: Mascots instil a sense of unity and team spirit in a group. Students bond over a shared mascot, and this leads to increased cooperation and camaraderie among peers.
  3. Build Tradition: Over time, house mascots become an integral part of traditions, they can be incorporated into celebrations and events.
  4. Increase Engagement and Participation: Having a mascot makes events and activities more fun. It draws students into events and encourages participation, whether it's cheering for a sports team or getting active in what’s on offer.
  5. Promote School or Group Spirit: mascots foster a sense of school spirit. They bring the school community together.
  6. Enhance Branding and Recognition: Mascots make it easier for people to recognise and remember the House.
  7. Encourage Positive Behaviour: Mascots can be used to promote positive behaviour and values and promote good sportsmanship.
  8. Boost Morale: Mascots can boost morale among members they serve as a symbol of strength and resilience, motivating individuals to persevere.
  9. Create a Fun and Memorable Experience: Mascots add an element of fun and excitement to events.

We look forward to bringing our Mascots alive with signage and in future events!
