This SPECIAL EDITION of our newsletter is dedicated to our upcoming school holiday program.

We will have a range of therapy groups, assessment clinics, and additional services available at all clinics.

All groups are delivered by our qualified and experienced Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists and Allied Health Assistants.

Murarrie

Our Murarrie team has a range of exciting groups on offer that allow kids and young people to learn and practice all important life skills in a safe, supported, and fun environment. These holidays, in addition to our usual OT and Speech Pathology groups, Practice Principal Dr Kristy Nicola is drawing from her extensive experience as a Physiotherapist to offer new and exciting groups for our children and families.

Sensational Sensory Fun

Time: 9:30am -11:30am

Cost: $100.00 per participant

Delivered by our multi-disciplinary team, this program supports children to explore different motor and sensory experiences, whilst bringing out the artist within! Social modelling and inclusive communication will support children of all capacities.

This program includes messy play that will result in a masterpiece – so dress appropriately!

Developing Da Vinci – up to 7 years of age

Marvelling Michelangelo – 8 years and older

Barbie Bake-off

Time: 9:30am -12:00noon

Cost: $140.00 per participant

Bring the inner Barbie out while creatively learning to bake!

Barbie loves healthy food and the occasional treat, so come along to learn Barbie’s baking secrets. With the support of our multi-disciplinary team, participants will plan, prepare and when required cook food!

Learning about food preparation and the food groups has never been so much fun!

Nothing to Fear, Batgirl is here!

Time: 9:30am -11:30am

Cost: $100.00 per participant

Calling all superheros, Batgirl needs help!

Joker has left behind several clues and tasks which may or may not lead to the stolen goods.

Can you help Batgirl solve the crime?

Batgirl needs friends to work as a team and help her find the clues then complete the tasks. This superhero team will need to play games and work together to get through many obstacles along the way. So, suit up and join the winning team!

Murarrie Martial Arts

Time: 1:00pm - 2:30pm

Cost: $90.00 per participant

For the first time ever, Murarrie is offering a Martial Arts Program! This program teaches participants respect and self-defence martial arts skills, while providing opportunities to develop individual balance, strength and fitness. This program has limited spaces and offers a junior and senior stream based on age, size and capacity.

Holiday Physiotherapy Program

1.5 hours of capacity building for assessment + additional costs as recommended

Murarrie now offers intensive physiotherapy sessions over the school holidays! From babies to adolescents, children of all ages can embark on an individualised fun physical developmental journey aiming to achieve motor goals in just a short time.

An intensive block of approximately 5 to 10 therapy sessions is an alternative to committing to regular weekly or fortnightly term sessions. Prior to participating in a physiotherapy intensive, children must first be assessed by our experienced physiotherapist to confirm if an intensive delivery is suitable. Following a physiotherapy assessment, recommendations and costs for treatment will be advised depending on the child’s needs.
