Attention Year 11 Students - Disability Exam Provisions

Do you need exam provisions for the upcoming exams? Over 7000 HSC students apply for exam provisions each year.

Go to theNESA website here for more information. Remember that the term 'disability' is very broad and the purpose of provisions is to allow you to make a fair attempt.

If you require exam provisions or if you're not sure and need advice please contact Michelle Shaw onshawm@ww.catholic.edu.au as soon as possible.

Curriculum Matters - Term 3 Week 7

Students currently in Years 8 and 10 have been engaged in the subject selections process in preparation for next year. Course lines and student subject confirmations will be determined and communicated to students later next term.

Thank you to all of the parents, students and teachers who have engaged in learning conversations supporting students throughout this process. It is important to use this dialogue to plan for future student engagement and success. Last Friday, the majority of our Year 10 families and students engaged in the Year 11 2024 learning conferences. This is a valuable opportunity for all students and parents to gain a deeper understanding of the Senior courses and learning requirements, as well as all other responsibilities and supports that are provided for our Senior students who are beginning their journey in final years of schooling. An email was sent to the remaining families to arrange an alternate time for this conference which will be held via Zoom. please contact Peter Hunt if you have any questions.

Year 12 Students

As we approach the end of Term 3, it is important NESA has accurate student contact details. All Students in Year 10, 11 and 12 should log into Students Online and check that their personal details are correct. If a school email address is recorded, students have been instructed to change it to a personal email address. This is important so when students leave Kildare they have the ability to access their HSC results and any other NSW Education Records Of School Achievements, once released.

If you have any questions please contact me Peter Hunt at huntp@ww.catholic.edu.au
