Gymnastics Term 3

In Term 3we will beparticipating in Gymnastics lessons. These will be held over weeks 5,6,7 and 8. All year levels will have a set time each week for these gymnastics activities. Kindy and Year one will have a bus transport them to gymnastics each week. All of the other grades will walk to and from the gymnastics centre.  Compass notification have been sent out to parents. Could all parents complete the permission and pay the gymnastics fee.

 

Monday -  Kindergarten and Year  1:00pm and 1:45pm: Week 5,6 and 8 and         1:00pm and 1.45pm: Week 7: Wednesday: 30th August

Wednesday - Year 5 and 6 10:00am and 11:00am

Thursday -  Year 3 and 4 -  10:00am and 11:00am

Friday -      Year 2  -  1:00pm

Diocesan Athletics 

Congratulations to our Diocesan Athletics team who competed in Tamworth last Friday. Extra congratulations to those who have made it through to the next level:

Armidale Schools Chess Competition

Last Wednesday, 20 students competed against teams from Armidale City Public School and Sandon Public school in a chess tournament. They competed in teams of four and participated in games throughout the day. Well done to all of the students who competed. They all showed wonderful sportsmanship and chess skills and strategy. Congratulations to the team of Kavin Mongar, Stephen Chin, Isaac Riches  and Kian Calubaquib, who finished in third place, just narrowly missing out on winning the day. There were many strong chess teams from the 3 schools.
