Be an eSafe kid: Take action against online bullying Webinar
On Wednesday 16th August the 3/4 and 5/6 students participated in a live Virtual Classroom webinar run by the eSafety Commissoner that helped students to identify cyberbullying and know what to do if they were being bullied online as part of the National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence.
"Yesterday at 1:55 pm all the senior school went into the community center for an eSafety online meeting with a man called Greg. We learnt what cyberbullying was and how it affected children. We had to solve different bullying cases on a piece of paper and who we could talk to to fix it. A lot of kids had interesting responses of what to do."
- Pete & Seth 5/6 W
"On Wednesday we learnt about cyberbullying and how to prevent it. We all got worksheets to fill in. Cyberbullying is much more common than you think. If you ever see cyberbullying, always report to the site where it happens and if the site doesn’t take notice, report to esafety."
- Harry & Jason 3/4 C
