Throughout the week, we have been learning lots of different things! In our reading this week, we have been looking at text features and being able to find these in different non fiction books. Some of the features we have noticed are glossaries, titles and contents pages. In our writing, we have continued to learn about acrostic poems, and have used this as a focus for our father’s day writing. In our maths, we started looking at mass. Students have been searching around the school for heavy and light objects and have had the chance to practice measuring with scales. For sport this week, we were able to attend a soccer clinic where got to learn some new skills and play some cool games. Finally, in our URSTRONG lesson this week, we have learnt about the Friend-o-meter and what it is like to be a good friend.
