Growing the Community, One Tree At A Time

Year 9 Outdoor Education – Community Tree Planting Excursion

Our Year 9 Outdoor Education elective students took part in a hands-on sustainability initiative, planting over 500 native plants along the Forsyth Rd Drain in Truganina. Guided by Kym from the Werribee River Association, students contributed to an important environmental restoration project that fosters biodiversity and supports our local ecosystem.

This meaningful excursion not only strengthened students’ connection to nature but also encouraged community engagement and environmental stewardship. By working together outdoors, students demonstrated teamwork, responsibility, and a strong commitment to caring for Country.

We’re incredibly proud of our Year 9s for their hard work and enthusiasm in helping to make a difference in our local environment.
