Athletics Carnival Presentation
Presentations will be held at the assembly next Friday, 20th June at 2.20pm in MacKillop Hall
The Polding House loved the Athletics Carnival because everybody cheered for each other even if they were in a different house colour. What an incredible day of competition and camaraderie for the Polding (Blue) House Athletics Carnival! The students gave it their all-in running, long jump, shot put and discus. The ad brought plenty of laughs, while the enthusiastic cheering made the event even more memorable. A huge congratulations to all participants for their sportsmanship and perseverance. Thank you to our families and staff for their support.

The athletics carnival was a day bursting with energy and excitement. The Riley team stood proudly, cheering on their athletes as they powered forward with determination. With each deep breath, they felt the spirit of competition and camaraderie fill their lungs. As the challengers approached the starting line, anticipation built—driven by sheer excitement, they sprinted toward victory.
No matter where you are on your journey, giving your best effort is what truly counts. It’s not about perfection; it’s about progress. Every step forward, no matter how small, is a step towards growth. When opportunities come your way, don’t hesitate—have a go!
We are especially thankful to Mrs Coco and the other teachers volunteering and cheering for our fantastic athletics carnival. We are also thankful for Senior Students for helping organise the younger students and helping the Sport Leaders to Organise the War cries.
Thank You for a Fantastic Athletics Carnival!
Our Athletics Carnival was a great success! A heartfelt thank you to all the parents who generously volunteered their time to help make the day run smoothly — we truly appreciate your support. We’d also like to acknowledge our dedicated teachers who helped create such a fun and energetic atmosphere for our students.
Looking Ahead: Stage 2 Soccer Gala Day
Stage 2 students will have their Soccer Gala Day in Term 3, providing them with an opportunity to demonstrate the skills they've developed during their soccer unit with Mrs. Coco.
Transitioning to ‘Minkey’
As Term 2 comes to a close, students will transition from their soccer unit to focusing on the skills associated with 'Minkey'. 'Minkey' is a modified version of field hockey designed for primary school children. It aims to introduce young players to the sport in a fun, safe, and educational environment.
