Cross Country and Athletics

The Cross-Country season has officially come to an end, and it’s been fantastic to witness the determination, teamwork, and school pride shown by our runners throughout the two terms.

A special congratulations to Aidan McNeilly, Tyler Jago, Niall Jaffrey, Joshua Booth, Leo Boyd-Clark, Benjamin Fogale, Matthew Krizan, Lucas Macri, Zac Hayes, Levi Azar, Maximilian Allende and Brandon Abram who represented ISA at the CIS Competition last Thursday 12 June. Here are some photos that highlight this day.

We would also like to thank our Cross Country Captain, Hamish Tooher for his excellent leadership and support this season. Your dedication and encouragement have made a real impact on the team.

With Cross Country now behind us, we look forward to the Athletics season kicking off in Week 2, Monday, 28 July, next term. Training will take place on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at Oxford Falls, with a bus departing Anderson Street at 3:15 pm and returning to school by 5:30 pm. We encourage all students to get involved and stay active.

Football

Well done to the many victorious teams over the weekend.  This weekend we see home and away fixtures, primarily against Oakhill.  Please note that for some fixtures Oakhill is using external fields such as Macquarie University. This is the last round for this term, the last training will be on Monday 23 June. Training will recommence on Wednesday 23 July.

Good luck to all teams this weekend.

Mr Simon Yue, Senior Football Convenor
