5/6s Visit to the Old Melbourne Gaol

( by Sanne & Lucie)

"On the 18th of June, the 5/6s went on an excursion to the Old Melbourne Gaol. We were greeted by a  nice lady whose name was Alison, and after a recap and facts about Ned Kelly we got straight into the experience. What we were doing today was putting on a drama of the trial of Ned Kelly.

Each of us got a role and we received a script to go with the role. We started the drama/play and it was frankly "INCREDIBLE". It was so much fun to watch everybody have their turn speaking and acting. Every 5 minutes or so they would play a short video on a projector explaining what has just happened as a short recap.

After we finished everyone clapped and Alison asked us some questions about what we just performed to make sure were were listening as a pop quiz.

We said our good byes and thank yous , then set off back to school by foot.

In summary it was an incredible and unforgettable experience and we thank Alison and Old Melbourne Gaol for their time."
