Staffing News

We are fortunate to have such a professional, dedicated and caring staff at Holy Family School.
Literacy Leader
In the coming weeks we will be saying goodbye to Ms Natalie Dib. Ms Dib has been an inspirational leader for our staff and an exemplerary classroom teacher.
She will be taking on the role of Learning Partner - Literacy with Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools at the start of Term 3 2025. This is a role with the Southern Region which means she will still be around to support our school.
I am pleased to say that we have employed Mrs Julianne Kelly to take on the Literacy Leader role from Term 3. Mrs Kelly is currently Literacy Leader and Prep teacher at St Luke the Evangelist Blackburn South. She is also part of the Reading and Learning Collective with Dr Nathaniel Swain which we are also part of.
Introducing Mrs Kelly
Hello, my name is Julianne Kelly. I have most recently taught at St Luke’s, Blackburn South. During this time, I’ve worked as both a classroom teacher and literacy leader, supporting students and staff across a range of year levels. I’m passionate about creating a positive and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive. My teaching is grounded in structured, explicit instruction and a strong understanding of literacy development. I’ve also led school-wide initiatives to improve teaching practices and student outcomes, and I value collaboration, professional growth, and the opportunity to continually learn from others.
Outside of school, I have been married for over 30 years and I’m a proud mother to three adult children and our much-loved dog, Henry. I love anything creative, have a passion for picture books and I enjoy travelling through our wonderful country, Australia. A recent visit to the Northern Territory was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had—it deepened my appreciation for the beauty and diversity of this land.
I look forward to becoming part of the community here at Holy Family. The different times that I have spent here as a visitor, I have always been impressed with the warmth, teacher professionalism, and the positive attitudes of the children. I am so grateful to be given the opportunity to be included in this vibrant school. Can’t wait to meet you all!
Year 3C Classroom Teacher
Mrs Curtain will be going on Maternity Leave early in Term 3 and we wish her all the best with her next chapter as a beautiful mum.
I would like to welcome Mrs Cetrola as the replacement teacher for Year 3C.
Introducing Mrs Cetrola
Hi, I’m Luisa Cetrola — a mother of two girls aged 9 and 10, and a passionate educator with a Master of Teaching (early childhood and primary). Over the course of the past seven years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching in a variety of school settings, including Wesley College, Caulfield Grammar, and Surrey Hills Primary School. My work has spanned roles as a Learning Assistant, English specialist tutor, and classroom teacher.
As a qualified literacy specialist, I’m deeply passionate about the Science of Learning and believe in delivering high-standard, evidence-based literacy instruction - something that Holy Family do very well. I also love working closely with parents to create personalised learning experiences that bring out the best in their child in the classroom.
I’m excited by the opportunity to work in a faith based school - something close to my heart - and to help your children not only learn but truly love coming to school. Expect plenty of smiles, a few engaging games as brain breaks, and a joyful classroom environment where your children feel supported, challenged, and celebrated every step of the way!
When I’m not teaching, you’ll often find me getting creative in the kitchen with my daughters, enjoying a quiet moment with them in some art or occasionally (when we get the chance) dining out with my loving husband.
I am privileged to be joining the Holy Family School community. See you soon !
