Reports and Student Teacher Parent Conversations

As you might have read on the Nforma Parent Portal, our Semester One reports and Student Teacher Parent conversations are coming up. Here is a recap of our reporting timeline

Reports

Semester One reports will be available to families via the Nforma Parent Portal on the last day of Term 2, the 4th July, 2025. The reports can be accessed through the Nforma app or by logging in online. Please note that reports will not be sent home as hard copies.

The new Victorian Curriculum for Mathematics 2.0

A single, aggregated score is formed from educator judgements. These are based on assessments, data analysis and moderation as well as the quantity and weighting of each strand in the curriculum, with the number strand weighting more heavily then the other strands as this component overarches all others. These judgements align with Victorian Mathematics curriculum program and reflect the Mathematics strands taught within a reporting period. In addition to the overall aggregate score for Mathematics, educators will provide an indication of where your child is currently working in relation to the achievement standard of each of the strands taught within the semester.

It is unlikely that your child will receive a result in each of the strands in semester one as only certain strands will be taught and assessed this semester, with remaining content to be explored in semester two.

Student, teacher & parent conversations

Our student, teacher & parent conversations will be held on Wednesday, the 30th July, week two of term three. This is for all classes except for the students in 5/6FA, due to Mr Anania's leave in week one and two of term three, the conversations will be held on the following Thursday, the 7th of August.

These conversations are a wonderful opportunity for you to sit alongside your child and their teacher as they reflect on learning so far and share goals for the semester ahead. You can ask questions about the reports and, together, you’ll talk about areas of growth in Literacy, Mathematics, and general learning, using insights from your child's Semester One report, assessments, and classroom learning.

It’s a conversation that honours their achievements and looks forward to what’s next.
