Breakfast Club

We are thrilled to celebrate the success of MGC’s Breakfast Club, which launched this term and has quickly become a warm and welcoming way to start the day. Held every Wednesday morning in the Gillard Centre from 8:00am to 8:30am, it has been fantastic to see so many students and staff coming together to share breakfast and connect.

With toast, cereals, fruit, snacks, and warm drinks on offer, there is something for everyone. Thank you to all who have joined in and helped create such a positive morning vibe. We cannot wait to keep it going next term!

To continue the GEM chats that we have been having at Melbourne Girls College, as seen in the last newsletter and on Instagram through the theme of gratitude. A powerful way families can build on this at home is by introducing GEM Chats into your daily routine.

GEM Chats are short, structured conversations that help build strong connections and encourage positive mental health. They’re easy to include around the dinner table, in the car, or sitting on the couch.

Use simple prompts like:

We encourage all MGC families to make GEM Chats part of your day. It’s a small habit that can make a big difference. For more activities see the TRP Parent & Carer Hub
