Harmony Day

On Monday the 23rd of March we celebrated Harmon Day!
Students from both junior and senior school proudly dressed in their cultural attire, or the colour orange. They participated in multiple activities and class games that recognised the different nationalities and cultural backgrounds within the community at Pakenham Hill Primary School. Students completed an 'I Belong' card by starting where their family originates from, and the languages spoken at home. Individual classes located these countries from around the world, using a world map, and then students spoke about their favouritie cultural dishes! Classmates were excited to share their personal experiences and traditions with each other, and parents and guardians from the community generously brought food in to share! It was a fantastic day!
