Graduate Outcome Awards

Oops! Last week's newsletter was missing the updates for our Week 6 Assembly Award winners! Therefore, this edition of the newsletter celebrates our Week 6 recipients for RESPECT and FAITH Awards, as well as our Week 8 recipients of the HOPE Award.

Students who graduate from St Therese’s Primary School are people of:

RESPECT, who show respect for life, self, others, the wider community and environment.​

FAITH, who develop a relationship with God.

HOPE, who are self-confident and believe in themselves.  

Our next award will be on the Graduate Outcome of INTEGRITY.

Our next assembly, and our final one for Term 1, will be on Wednesday, April 1st at 2:30pm in the St Therese's Church. Awards for INTEGRITY will be presented at this assembly.

St. Therese's Learning Walks

In Term 2 we will be holding Learning Walks throughout St. Therese's. These visits will provide an opportunity for families to see learning and teaching in action, witnessing the extraordinary work of our teachers and your learners. Learning Walks will be open to our school community, with further details and booking information coming early in Term 2.

SSV Region Swimming Championships

A big congratulations to Sam H and Eden H who recently competed in Swan Hill for the SSV Region Swimming Championships. Eden had a great day out, earning 2nd & 4th places in her events. A fantastic effort against some tough competition.

Sam had an outstanding day in the pool, placing 1st in both of his events, with a PB in one event, to secure his place at the State Championships next month at MSAC. We wish you all the best going forward Sam!

School Cross Country

Our Cross Country is next week! We have been practising hard during our PE times at school but any extra practice at home will help us run the distance. 

Students are encouraged to dress in their house colours on the day but they have to be able to RUN in their outfit.

The timetable of events is attached below for families.

SSV Division Cross Country - CHANGE OF DATE

We were informed last week of a change in date for the SSV Division Cross Country to Friday 22nd May.

Cricket Victoria - State Champions Plaque

We had a visit from Jake at Cricket Victoria last week. He popped in to deliver a very special plaque to the coaches and team players of our 2025 Cricket Blast State Champions. This plaque has taken pride of place alongside our trophy and banner in the foyer. 

Thanks to Jake and Cricket Victoria for the lovely recognition and momento of the day.

We look forward to defending this title later in the year!
