Last week, we celebrated Harmony Week! Australia is one of the most multicultural countries in the world, and this week provided a wonderful opportunity to recognise and celebrate our diversity, including language, culture, food, traditions, and beliefs. It also reminds us that everyone belongs.
Our classes took part in a Harmony Week lesson and created individual hands to represent their uniqueness. These have been combined into a whole-school display showcasing the message ‘Everyone Belongs’. If you get the chance, we encourage you to come and have a look!

This week, our routine focus is on how we speak to others. Students will be explicitly taught and supported to use respectful, kind and polite communication in all situations.
Classes will explore what it means to be an upstander, standing up for others and seeking help when needed. We will also be recognising students who demonstrate these positive behaviours, helping to strengthen a culture where everyone feels safe and valued.
