CLAIRE KELLIE (Finance & HR Manager)
What is your new role at BHCS and what are you excited about for the future?
I'm the new Finance & HR Manager. I'm excited about getting to know the passionate folks that belong in this school community. The people I've met recently have been very welcoming, and it's also been a pleasure reconnecting with some familiar faces.
What did you do previously?
I have worked in similar roles in schools, such as Mountain District Christian School and Beaconhills College.
What do you like to do for fun?
I like hanging out with my kids, reading all sorts of books, doing puzzles and belly-dancing.
ERIN JACOBS (Environmental Program Assistant)
What is your new role at BHCS and what are you excited about for the future?
My new role is the Environmental Program Assistant.
I am excited to watch my beautiful little 1 year old grow into a young man who loves life, Jesus and the environment.
What did you do previously?
I have always worked within the environmental space starting out as an Outdoor Educator within Independent schools in England and Melbourne. I then moved into Forestry Fire Fighting and Environmental Education and more recently I worked in Waste Management managing projects which saw me implementing infrastructure and education campaigns that addressed recycling problem waste streams.
What do you like to do for fun?
Running really really far. I am one of those people who finds running 50 - 100km fun......
KATHLEEN DE ZWART (DC Assistant Manager)
What is your new role at BHCS and what are you excited about for the future?
I'm Assistant Manager in the Discovery Centre. I'm excited to be sharing literature in all its varieties, getting to know the community of BHCS and seeing what God is doing in this space.
What did you do previously?
I worked as a Teacher of the Deaf at an independent ELC-Year 12 school.
What do you like to do for fun?
I love reading, going to film festivals and art galleries, spending time with family and going out for coffee with friends.
CYNTHIA LIM (Secondary Learning Assistant)
What is your new role at BHCS and what are you excited about for the future?
My new role as a Learning Assistant at BHCS is to provide support to the students in their learning. I look forward to getting to know the students, working with the teachers, and learning and growing together in Christ as a school community. I am excited to have a small part to play in God's work of transforming lives.
What did you do previously?
Amidst home duties(!) I volunteered in church with the children's ministry and the missions department. I also did some administration with Bible Study Fellowship and private tutoring for a child with a learning disability.
What do you like to do for fun?
I enjoy reading, playing board games, having a hit of tennis, experimenting with cooking and looking for good food.
