Rights, Resilience and Respectful Relationships (RRRR)

This year, we have started to use the Rights, Resilience and Respectful Relationships (RRRR) program again as part of our Social and Emotional Learning lessons. 💛

This program supports students to build important life skills such as forming positive relationships, developing resilience, and showing respect and empathy towards others.

These lessons play an important role in helping to create a safe, supportive and inclusive environment where all students can feel confident and connected.

This term in Respectful Relationships, students have been focusing on Personal Strengths. 🌟 Throughout these lessons, they have, and will continue to explore their own unique strengths and qualities, while also learning to recognise and celebrate the strengths of others. By developing an understanding of their personal strengths, students can build confidence, make positive choices, and approach challenges with a greater sense of self-belief.

At Home Activity - ‘Around the Table – Celebrating Strengths’ 💬✨

One evening this week, try having a family conversation about personal strengths. Take turns sharing something you think each person in your family is really good at or a quality you admire in them. 🌟

You might ask questions like:

“What is something you’re really proud of about yourself?”

“When have you used one of your strengths to help you through something tricky?”

“What strengths do you see in each other?”

This can be a lovely way to build confidence, strengthen connections, and help children recognise that everyone has their own unique strengths. It also encourages them to see how these strengths can be used in everyday life, especially when facing challenges. 💛
