Year 6 Boys Netball Competition

On Thursday November 13th WHPS had two teams of male netballers compete in a Regional competition at the amazing 20 court netball centre in Ferntree Gully. This was the first time the school has been involved in this particular competition, and many year 6 students were keen to be involved.

After tryouts and final team selections, two teams of ten boys were chosen and training started. The boys worked hard and were impressive with their skills, ready and confident on the day. We are all very proud of their efforts and their attitude and sportsmanship shown during this competition.

The green team won two of their five games against some extremely tough competition. They played in a pool with Regency Park PS, Brandon Park PS, Kent Park PS, Great Ryrie PS and Saint Anne’s PS.
