Our Fortnight In Photos
Remembrance Day
In the lead-up to Remembrance Day, students and educators learned about the meaning and significance of poppies as a symbol of remembrance for those who have served and sacrificed. We then used modelling clay to create our own poppies, carefully shaping and arranging them into a beautiful poppy garden display some of which can be seen on display at the sing in/ out table. It was a meaningful experience that helped students develop a deeper understanding of why we pause to remember.
Will’s Balloon Creations
This week Will brought in his birthday present, a balloon modelling kit! He showed everyone how to pump up the balloons and demonstrated how to twist them into fun shapes like a dog and a parrot. The children were excited to have a go themselves and came up with some very creative designs. It was such a hit that we plan to include balloon modelling as one of the activities for our upcoming
Curriculum Day
New OSHC Educator Display Window
We’re excited to share our new staff window display, which you can now view from outside the OSHC room! The display includes information about our current study focus as well as some fun facts about each of our educators, helping families and students get to know us a little better.
A big thank you to Nell for her creativity and hard work in putting it all together, it looks fantastic! Be sure to stop by and take a look next time you’re passing.
