Selamat Siang ,

This week we enjoyed our end of year celebration by seeing the Pevan and Sarah Concert. We all had an amazing time singing and dancing along to so many of the songs we have learnt throughout the year. Many of our favourite songs played including the 'Sentence Song', 'I Like It Loud', 'Months of the Year' and 'Walk Like Me'. Thank you to our parent volunteers for coming along and supporting the event.

On Monday, MPRPS also held the Public Speaking Competition. A representative from each class was selected to share their speech to the whole school, with one student from each year level then selected to represent Mount Pleasant Road PS in the Inter-school Public Speaking Competition held at Rangeview PS. Jacob (FT), Nandu (FA) and Mina (FE) all showed immense bravery and perseverance when writing and presenting their speeches. Congratulations to Mina for being selected to represent Foundation.

Kind Regards,

Tegan, Emma and Ash

Pupil of the Week

FA - Amira K

For growing confidence with your writing. You did well to sound out unknown words independently.

FE- Felix K

For demonstrating perseverance and life-long learning when exploring our focus phonemes. It was wonderful to see you applying the rules to understand when to use 'ay', 'ai' or 'a_e'.

FT- Jacob W

For being incredible in all aspects of the week. You have bought so much joy to the classroom and have tried so hard with your learning.
