Principals' Report

Dear Families,

This week, St. Patrick’s School participated in the School Review process, which takes place every four years. This is a valuable opportunity for us to celebrate the many things we do well, while also identifying areas where we can continue to grow and improve as a school community.

Our school reviewer, Mr. Craig Tanner, spent three days with us this week and will now collate a comprehensive report about St. Patrick’s School. The report will focus on five key areas:

  • Education in Faith
  • Learning and Teaching
  • Student Wellbeing
  • Leadership and Management
  • Community Engagement

My sincere thanks to the staff, students, and parents who met with Craig throughout the 3 days to share their experiences of St. Patrick’s and offer insights into how we can continue to make our school an even better place for everyone.

At the end of the year, Mr. Tanner will return for a Dialogue and Engagement Day, where he will present his findings and recommendations to the School Leadership Team. This will form the foundation for the development of our next four-year School Improvement Plan.

Prep 2026 Orientation

The orientation process for our 2026 Prep classes will begin next month. I am pleased to announce that our 2026 Prep teachers will be Mrs Charlotte Spence, Miss Nikahla Short, and Miss Laura Smith

Our Prep teachers do an outstanding job each year in preparing and supporting our newest students as they begin their school journey. The orientation process is an important and exciting time for children and families, helping everyone to feel comfortable, confident and connected to our school community. Charlotte, Nikahla and Laura put great care into planning engaging, welcoming and developmentally appropriate experiences that ensure our new Preps are ready for a smooth transition into school life.

I am very excited about the Prep team we have for next year and look forward to meeting our 2026 students and families during the upcoming orientation sessions:

World Teacher's Day

At St. Patrick’s, we are truly blessed to have such a dedicated and hardworking staff. Each member of our team goes above and beyond in their role, always demonstrating professionalism and a genuine commitment to achieving the best outcomes for every student.
