Year 8 Camp

From Wednesday 5 November to Friday 7 November, our Year 8 students headed off on an exciting camp at Adventure Camp - Charnwood Outdoor Centre. These three days were jam-packed with adventure, teamwork, and new experiences strengthened friendships.
Over the three days, students took part in a range of activities including a 7km bike ride, a challenging hike, and abseiling.
On the final day, everyone enjoyed a variety of camp-based activities such as archery, feeding and catching chickens, wood chopping, pitching tents, and making damper.
A highlight for many was making s ’mores around the campfire on Thursday night, sharing stories and laughs under the stars.
It was wonderful to see students socialising and forming new friendships with peers they wouldn’t normally interact with. By the last night, there were plenty of happy (and tired!) faces all around. The quiet bus trip home on Friday said it all — a great camp, full of memories and adventure.
