Selamat Siang ,
This week in English we wrote persuasive pieces and narratives. It was great to see how far students have come as writers with detailed and sustained writing. In Maths we looked at problem solving strategies for addition and subtraction and learned or revised several strategies including doubles and the split strategy. In Wellbeing we made our Catastrophe scale. Students explored the size of problems and discussed whether it was a problem that they could solve themselves, needed help from a friend or could ask an adult for help. In Guided Inquiry we continued to compare how our school now is different to how schools were in the past.
Kind Regards,
Tegan, Emma and Ash
