Inquiry Centre

Highlight

Selamat Siang,

We've had a great week in the Inquiry Centre this week!

Students have been busy writing and practising their speech about the topic 'If I could be any animal...'. We are so impressed with the creativity shown by students and how they have followed the persuasive writing structure to provide supporting detail for each reason.

In Maths, students practised their ability to count a small collection of Australian coins. It was fantastic to see multiple strategies of calculating, including grouping the same types of coins together and skip counting.

In Guided Inquiry, we explored the differences between games and toys from the olden days to current times. Students identified that games in the olden days don't use as much technology and were more active.

A highlight of the week was the Walk to School Breakfast, which was a wonderful way to celebrate developing the healthy habit of using physical activity to get to and from school.
